VPN Software Usage / WOW Password Reset Required

I'm using VPN software for my bot account and find that no matter how long I'm logged out of WOW, if my IP changes (due to reboot, power outage, etc.), WOW requires me to change my password. For obvious reasons I don't want so much attention. Last occurrence, I was logged out all night, logged in next morning with new IP address, WOW required password change. I may go to the VPN provider and see if there's a way to get a specific IP and control when it changes, but I suspect that might not be possible. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    That's just how it works.

Try and keep the same IP range for a week or so at a time.

If you dont understand IP ranges.. there is an option under the setting that will list you "Closest IPs" or something like that.. check that option and have it just cycle through that range of IP's... there should be at least 5 pretty close to your home town. all those should work for everytime you log in if you switch to one of those that is close to you.

If you live in the USA, and your connecting with an IP in China then obviously its going to throw a flag up... but say Fine, and reset your password.. the last IP was the one in china.. so if you switch to a different IP in say.... Spain.. its going to conflict again.. understand?

The only problem is that in some cases if you switch often, Blizzard will lock your account and have you send them a photo ID to them proving your the account holder.. Been there a few times.

I understand IP ranges and why this is happening. (I've been an IT developer for over 30 years.) Thanks for the response anyway.
